In this small village in the Agrigento area, every year on the occasion of the Festa di Gesù Nazareno, a triumphal chariot, made entirely of wood, 22 meters high, parades through the streets of the historic centre.< br>The chariot consists of a boat-shaped base and a high central tower. The boat symbolizes the Church led by Jesus and his people, while the tower represents the connection between heaven and earth and man's aspiration to reach out to God.
