The ghosts of the Vaques hospital

The building, built as a health facility, according to the intention of the donor of the building, was never used as such due to various political and bureaucratic vicissitudes. It was a refuge for refugees, for smallpox, as an anti-tuberculosis preventative, a counseling center for pregnant women and newborns, a middle school and nursery school, a summer colony and, during the last world war, it was the headquarters of the barracks-accommodation of the anti-paratrooper nucleus of room.
Probably due to its multiple uses, several legends have arisen around this building. It is said of the appearance of mysterious presences: strange white shapes in the windows, ghost stretchers, and two ghosts, that of a doctor and that of a soldier, who would disappear into thin air after kissing.
