The two firsts of the city of Melilli
The city of Melilli boasts two important firsts in Sicily.
Melilli was the only municipality that in 900 had the mechanical water distribution and today it can boast the primacy of "the only Sicilian city" to still have an example in excellent condition, the old machine, moreover, is today a monument of industrial archeology that can be visited.
Another record that the city of Melilli boasts is that of being the "only Sicilian city" to still possess an example in excellent condition, dating back to the nineteenth century, of a Fire Machine 'Artifice.
