Leggend of "Biddina" of Favara
Sailko - CC3.0
The legend of the Biddina tells of a terrible monster that lived in the Conzo stream in Favara.
The "Biddina", a term that derives from the Arabic and indicates a large water snake, was a terrible snake-like monster, a few meters long, with a size that could swallow a lamb in a single mouthful.
In Favara, in the second half of the 1800s, the news spread that a large and frightening beast had appeared in the Conzo stream. This monster was said to have red eyes just like a dragon's. Many ran to find the terrible beast but no one has ever found anything.
