The locality of Punta Secca becomes, in the television series "Il Commissario Montalbano", the city of Marinella.
Marinella is the place where Salvo Montalbano lives, protagonist of the series based on the novels of Andrea Camilleri. Right in Punta Secca there is the famous house on the sea of Inspector Montalbano.
The scenes at the "Enzo a Mare" restaurant are also set in Punta Secca.
