The village of Savoca and Bar Vitelli were filmed in the 2014 commercial of Birra Moretti Radler.
The spot directed by Rocco Papaleo stars the icon of Birra Moretti, Baffo Moretti, Orso Maria Guerrini and was shot between the villages of Forza D'Agrò and Savoca. In the subject of the Baffo Moretti campaign, during a ride in the hinterland of the province of Messina, he collects and selects the best Sicilian lemons with great care and passion. Ride your bike past a group of runners, emulating the historic passage of a bottle between Coppi and Bartali with a lemon. Il Baffo is left on foot due to a breakdown in the bike chain but Valentina Melis comes to his rescue, aboard a motoape with which he is transporting lemons.
The historic Bar Vitelli di Savoca, the place where some were shot in 1972 unforgettable sequences of "The Godfather", is the place where the two stop in search of refreshment and quench their thirst with a Moretti Radler. After the first sip, the famous gesture of the Moretti Baffo is repeated: the foam is removed from the mustache which, for the occasion, turns yellow.
