In the Cathedral of Novara di Sicilia a wax baby is exhibited to which a mystery is linked.
In 1752 Sister Maria Teresa Fontana was born in Novara di Sicilia, a figure much loved by all Novara residents who died in the odor of sanctity.
Although the woman never took her vows, she is remembered as the village nun because she lived in prayer and as it was a support and comfort for many families of the village.
Many miraculous events and many anecdotes are told about the figure of Sister Teresa Fontana, among these the most curious is that of the wax baby, now exhibited in the Cathedral, with which he says that Sister Teresa spent several hours of the day talking to him.
