The Legend of the Stone of Poetry in Mineo tells of a rock with magical powers.
It is said that on the Camuti plateau there is a magical rock that has the power to give inspiration to the poet who sits on it. Around this stone, it is said that until the end of 1850, before the unification of Italy, numerous poets from all over Sicily gathered to compete by writing and reciting verses.
