San Pier Niceto holds the title of the longest infiorata in the world.
The infiorata di San Pier Niceto is set up every year on the occasion of the Corpus Domini celebrations. The floral carpet that is set up can measure up to 2 kilometres. In fact, over the years, the long carpet of the main street has been joined by the local flower displays that have transformed the whole town into a large carpet of flowers.
Given the absolute record achieved in this event, a request has been made for inclusion in the Guinness World Record.
