Savoca: the village with seven faces

The writer Leonardo Sciascia has defined the enchanting village of Savoca "the town of seven faces".
The nickname "town of seven faces", which Leonardo Sciascia would have attributed to Savoca in an article published on 12 May 1962 by "Il Giorno", was given by him because of the great variety of landscapes that the visitor can find in front of every street corner. Often, even passing through the same street but from another angle, the scenery appears different but equally suggestive.
