Palazzolo Acreide was the protagonist of high fashion by Dolce and Gabbana thanks to spring/summer 2020 advertising campaign.
The advertising campaign of the Dolce and Gabbana collection was created through a series of black and white shots by Salvo Alibrio, evoking the atmosphere, symbols and traditions of Sicily.
In the shots, the colonnade of the Annunziata church, Piazza del Popolo, the Basilica of San Sebastiano are the backdrop to scenes of everyday life. The traditional moments of conviviality in the village were also immortalized, including the feast of St. Paul on 29 June. Also in 2019 the village of Palazzolo Acreide had been chosen by the two stylists to appear among the symbolic photos depicted on various items of clothing.
