Finding of the Massiccio dei Cervi
Massiccio dei Cervi is part of the wonderful panorama that can be enjoyed from Piazza XXVII Maggio in Polizzi Generosa.
This mountain, belonging to the Madonie mountain group, has in the center a lowering of the land called by the locals "Padella". According to legend, this place hides a finding , that is the discovery of a treasure following the execution of a ritual. It is believed that in correspondence with this depression there is the hypothetical secret entrance to a cave full of treasures that can only be revealed during the Easter mass.
