Rocca Salvatesta is the peak that dominates the village of Novara di Sicilia. It is said that a treasure is hidden in its ravines.
Legend has it that a treasure consisting of jars filled with gold can only be recovered by a woman, but in order to do so she will have to perform a ritual, a typical feature of Sicilian finding: she will have to collect wood from seven different woods, weave a canvas of flax, collect the grain, take it to the mill to make flour, then bake the bread baked in the oven fueled by wood collected in the seven woods and wrap it in cloth; he will therefore have to go to the slopes of the "Rocca Salvatesta" and consume it on the spot
