Legend has it that the daughter of a lord of the Caccamo castle was in love with a soldier. When the two were discovered, the woman's father had the boy executed and his daughter locked up in a convent where she died of grief.
It is said that, since then, a beautiful nun dressed in white, at the stroke of midnight on each moon. full you wander around the castle with a pomegranate in your hand inviting, with a rhyme, whoever comes across, to eat all the beans, without touching the fruit with your hands and without letting them fall to the ground with the hope of finding a treasure as a reward.
