The Church of the Guardian Angels in Aidone is a small place of worship located in the heart of the village.
It was built at the end of the 19th century.
The simple façade, made of terracotta bricks, has a red sandstone portal with an angel's face carved into the architrave. It is surmounted by a rectangular window with a brick frame. The façade ends with a triangular tympanum that has a small window crowned by a round arch. On the left side stands the bell tower, surmounted by a square bell lodge.
The interior, with a single nave, is marked by pilasters in three bays. The vault is decorated with frescoes depicting three walking angels and the Madonna with the child, while above the side altars are depicted Saint Nicholas of Bari and Saint Biagio bishop.
Among the works kept in the church we remember: the wooden statue of Saint Teresa placed on the main altar and a small and ancient wooden crucifix.
