Sant'Elia Palace in Caltagirone
Palazzo Sant'Elia in Caltagirone is one of the most important private buildings in the city.
It was built in the eighteenth century on a project by the architect Natale Bonaiuto. The palace displays several elements of clear Baroque influence. The building is located in a highly suggestive position: one side is visible from the bridge of San Francesco, as the top floor overlooks the level of the bridge itself.
