Tholos of Monte Campanella in Milena
The Tholos of Monte Campanella in Milena, known locally as the Saracen Caves, are two tombs dating back to the 13th century BC, to the late Bronze Age.
The presence of these two tombs, found in 1949 and 1972, confirms the hypothesis of the presence of a settlement of Cretan colonies in Sicily around 1200 BC.
In the same area funerary objects were found, consisting of vents and small black-painted Attic vases, dating back to the Greek period and dating back to between the and the 4th century BC
