Baldanza Palace in Militello in Val di Catania
Palazzo Baldanza in Militello in Val di Catania is a valuable civil building in Baroque style.
It was built in the 18th century and occupies an entire block. It belonged to the noble Caruso family, whose main branch died out at the end of the 18th century.
The building consists of two elevations above ground and has six balconies decorated with rich brackets with masks and festoons in the pilaster strips. The frames of the French windows are valuable and decorated with volutes and allegorical figures. The palace is enriched by a majestic garden surrounded by walls.
