Oliva Palace a Militello in Val di Catania
Oliva Palace in Militello in Val di Catania is an elegant civil building in the village.
It was built between the 17th and 18th centuries and belonged to the Calatina family of the Interlandi princes of Bellaprima. In the first half of the 18th century it passed to the Militello family of the Tinnirello who lived there until 1921 and finally to the Oliva family.
Of particular value is the central carved French window, in Mannerist style, on whose tympanum is placed a heraldic coat of arms in marble.
