Reburdone Palace in Militello in Val di Catania
Palazzo Reburdone in Militello in Val di Catania is a rare and valuable example of civil architecture in Mannerist style.
It was built in 1625 in the Vallone district, which still preserves part of the sixteenth-century urban fabric intact, and is one of the few buildings that survived the catastrophic earthquake of 1693.
You can observe the mighty corner pilasters and the French windows surmounted by elegant broken tympanums.
