Tamburino Merlino Palace in Mineo
Palazzo Tamburino Merlino in Mineo is an important eighteenth-century civil building with clear references to the Sicilian Baroque.
The palace was inhabited by the historian and archaeologist Corrado Tamburini Merlini, parish priest of the Collegiata Santa Agrippina, to whom the archaeological museum of Mineo.
The palace was home to the the only private oratory in Mineo, established in 1802 with a papal brief from Pius VII who granted the privilege to the brothers D. Pietro and D. Ignazio Tamburino.
