Adinolfo Gate in Mineo is the only one of the five medieval access gates to the city that still exists. It was dedicated to Adinolfo, a character who led the Sicilian Vespers insurrection in Mineo.
The structure has a tower dominated by a sun at the top, on each side, details that indicate the Ducezio castle and the temple of the god Sole.
