Sambuchetti-Campanito Oriented Nature Reserve
The Campanito-Sambughetti Oriented Nature Reserve was established to conserve and protect an important beechwood wreck. It is a dense, almost impenetrable forest of notable naturalistic importance.
The reserve includes the Campanito massif, continuation of the Nebrodi chain, which has a series of very suggestive pinnacles. At the foot of Monte Campanito, one of the most important wetlands of the Nebrodi is located: the Campanito lakes, three natural reservoirs that have been created in correspondence with a clayey counter-slope.
