Church of San Filippo in Piazza Armerina



The church of San Filippo in Piazza Armerina, located in the heart of the popular Casalotto district, enjoys a splendid view over the city.
It was built in the 17th century and has a very simple façade with a double pitched roof and stone facing.
The simulacrum of San Filippo d'Agira is kept inside and is carried in procession in the month of May.
