Municipal Art Gallery in Piazza Armerina
The Pinacoteca Comunale in Piazza Armerina is part of the SIMPA., Museum System of Piazza Armerina.
The museum space is divided into three rooms: Red, Yellow and Blue.
The Red Room houses the owned altarpieces of the Municipality since 1866, the year in which the law of suppression of religious bodies came into force.
The Yellow Room exhibits works of a religious nature and objects very common in the Sicilian figurative culture of the past centuries.
The Blue Room exhibits portraits of important citizens of Piazza Armerina.
