The Church of the Immaculate Conception in Ramacca is also known as the Parish of San Giuseppe. In fact, the new parish of San Giuseppe, the town's patron saint, is housed here.
The church and the adjoining Capuchin convent keep a glove that belonged to San Pio da Pietralcina .
The building has a neoclassical façade and is accessed from the square in front of it via a spectacular double staircase.
The interior, with a single nave, is decorated with stuccos and furnished with altars.
Of particular artistic value are the ancient works, by an unknown author, kept inside the church: oil paintings of the Cross, of Our Lady of Sorrows and of some Capuchin Saints; wooden statues of the Madonna, of S. Luigi Gonzaga, of Christ at the column, of Our Lady of Sorrows and a Crucifix; the nineteenth-century tabernacle in inlaid wood.
Following recent restoration work, the crypt of the monastery has been brought to light. The crypt has been renovated and can be visited.
