Church of the Crucifix in San Cono
Church of the Crucifix of San Cono is located in the northern part of the town, on the slopes of Mount San Marco.
The Church of SS. Crocifisso was originally a small chapel built by the Marquis Luigi Trigona della Floresta. The building was restored and enlarged, assuming its current dimensions and layout, in the early years of the twentieth century.
Internally, it has a central altar dominated by a large papier-mâché crucifix; laterally there are two other altars, dedicated to San Calogero and Our Lady of Sorrows.
