San Marco Chapel in Sutera

SP132 - Sutera (CL)

The San Marco Chapel, also known as Pizzo San Marco, is a small church of Sutera excavated inside the Rocca di San Marco. The walls contain a Byzantine-style polychrome fresco divided into three panels: the central panel reproduces Jesus in the midst of the Madonna and San Paolino, superimposed on another figure.
