Lanza House in Valguarnera
Casa Lanza in Valguarnera Caropepe is the house where the writer Francesco Lanza was born and died (5 July 1897 – 6 January 1933).
The building, designed by Eng. Mariano Piazza, has, on the ground floor, a valuable portal in light stone, flanked by two additional doors that were later transformed into windows. On the second level there is a central balcony and side windows that have valuable frames in Caltagirone terracotta.
On the facade there is a commemorative plaque that affirms the important cultural contribution that Lanza's work gave at the beginning of the twentieth century.
