Emigration Museum in Valguarnera Caropepe
The Ethno-Anthropological and Emigration Museum of Valguarnera, located in the twentieth-century Palazzo Prato di Valguarnera Caropepe, exhibits objects that have been part of the common history and daily life of entire generations forced in the past to lead a difficult life and often forced to emigrate in search of an occupation.
The museum displays tools and objects of work in the fields, in the mines, in domestic life, and linked to emigration that keep alive the memory of what life was like for past generations.
