Ancient Fair of the Castle in Mussomeli
The Ancient Fair of the Castle in Mussomeli takes place in the month of September in the rural area at the foot of the Castle, on the occasion of the Feast of the Madonna del Castello and the castle celebrations.
This centenary fair is today one of the most important Sicilian fairs related to animal husbandry.
On the occasion of the event, moments of tasting of typical regional products are organised, Show Cooking, the Animated Castle event with a large historical procession, jugglers, musicians, flag-wavers and walk-ons, a photographic exhibition of the ancient fair and play area for children in contact with animals, artistic and entertainment shows.
