The Carnival in Antillo attracts numerous visitors every year due to the presence of the traditional mask of u picuraru, the sheep, a disguise of great visual impact, which strongly recalls rural life.
During the carnival celebrations in the streets of the village the traditional masks of picurari and the free bell ringers of San Mauro Forte parade. Alongside the parades are held tastings of typical Antilles products: roasted sausage, baked cuzzola and warm seasoned bread washed down with good local wine.
Another peculiarity of the Antillo Carnival is the opportunity to spend a few hours in joy and carefree by participating in the traditional contradanza dances.
