Salemi Carnival

The Salemi Carnival fills the squares and streets of the village every year with music, entertainment and musical shows, areas dedicated to street food, confetti and mascots for the little ones.
Men wearing masks will parade through the streets of the village typical of the Trapani town, the gardeners. The Giardinieri di Salemi wear a nineteenth-century velvet dress in the manner of the burgisi. On their heads they have a straw hat with numerous long multicolored ribbons and they carry a pantograph tool in their hand which, in extension, reaches the length of about five meters through which they offer the public candies and various sweets.
Dates and Scheduling
Parades of allegorical carts for the Salemi Carnival 2025. On March 1st in Vita and March 2nd in Salemi the streets will be transformed into an explosion of colours, music and masks with the Disney-themed float parades.
