Octopus Festival in Pozzillo

In Pozzillo, a characteristic seaside village of Acireale, every year on the occasion of the celebrations of the patron saint Santa Margherita, the octopus festival takes place on the penultimate weekend of July. In the main square of the village, Piazza Santa Margherita, tasting stands are set up where octopus salads are served accompanied by good wine and music.
