Feast of Madonna in Caltabellotta
The traditional Feast of the Madonna in Caltabellotta is a celebration in honor of the Protectors of the city: Maria SS.ma dei Miracoli and the SS.mo Crocifisso. It takes place every year on the last weekend of July.
The veneration of the Madonna dei Miracoli in Caltabellotta dates back to 1601 when she was proclaimed patroness of the town after having preserved the inhabitants from cholera.
