The feast of the Madonna del Furi in Cinisi is celebrated on the last Saturday and Sunday of May.
The nocturnal pilgrimage with torchlight procession is very suggestive, during which a copy of the ancient Image of the Madonna is brought in procession, from the Mother Church towards the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Furi. In this place, according to tradition, an icon of the Virgin was found following a miraculous apparition.
The festivities end on Sunday with solemn religious celebrations and with < strong>Furi Festa and the sagra delle Vergineddi.
