Feast of the Madonna del Carmine in Cerami

The Feast of the Madonna del Carmine in Cerami takes place on the second Sunday of August and is a great moment of celebration and devotion for the village.
One of the highlights of the feast, preceded by a novena of prayers, songs and religious celebrations, is the procession of the Reicola, the relic of San Simone Stock, the saint to whom the Madonna del Carmine appeared, carried under a canopy and accompanied by the four brotherhoods of the town.
On the day of the celebration, the solemn procession of the statuary group of the venerated images of the Holy Mary, Carmelo and San Simone Stock takes place.
