Feast of Our Lady of Grace in Castanea delle Furie

In Castanea delle Furie the celebrations in honor of the Madonna della Grazie take place traditionally on 6, 7 and 8 September.
On the afternoon of 6 September the pilgrimage usually takes place with the statue of the Madonnina from the town of Castanea to the church of the Madonna del Tonnaro where the statue will remain on display all day on the 7th. In the evening the pilgrimage takes place that brings the statue of the Madonnina back to the town.
Day 8 the solemn procession of the statue of the Madonna takes place through the streets of the historic center of Castanea delle Furie.
