In Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, in the Fatima district, celebrations are held in honor of the Holy Virgin every year on May 13, the day of the apparition of the Madonna in Fatima. The feast day is preceded by the novena and the triduum of preparation for the feast. On May 13, the traditional procession of the simulacrum of the Virgin takes place accompanied by the musical band and a crowd of faithful.
