Feast of Mary SS. Sorrowful in Ciminna

The Feast of the Holy Mary. Addolorata in Ciminna traditionally takes place on the third Sunday of October and includes a rich religious and recreational program.
The celebrations, organized by the Confraternita Maria SS. Addolorata of Ciminna, open with the translation of the Image of the Holy Mary. Sorrowful from the Chapel to the Church of St. Peter, known as the Church of Purgatory. The culminating moment of the celebrations is the Solemn Procession of the Image of the Holy Mary. Addolorata.
