Feast of Maria SS Annunziata in Alcara Li Fusi
In Alcara Li Fusi, in the month of September there are the celebrations in honor of Maria Santissima Annunziata in which the whole community takes part with great devotion. The culminating moment of the celebrations is the solemn and evocative procession of the statue of the Virgin through the streets of the village. During the celebrations, various side activities are organized.
Dates and Scheduling
25 Mar 2025
18:00 Exit of the fercolo dell'Annunziata from the Church of the same name, with the traditional placement of the statuette of the Eternal Father on the dome of the float.
Meeting with San Giuseppe and Procession through the streets of the town with entry into the Mother Church and celebration of the Solemn Holy Mass.
To follow: short Procession with the usual "greeting" between the Annunziata and San Giuseppe and conclusion of the celebrations with the return of the Sacred effigies to their respective churches.
