Medieval Festival in Paternò
Re-enactment in Music between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance
The Medieval Fesra in Paternò is a musical re-enactment between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. On the occasion of the event, organized by the Ass. Cultural Sturm und Drang Polyphonic Choir and Chamber Orchestra, musicians, poets and dancers, in period costumes, will perform at the court of Bianca di Navarra, Queen of Sicily.
A rich program of events is organized during the commemoration days : the investiture ceremony of the knights, historical dances, treasure hunts, historical procession, performances by flag-wavers, drummers, falconers, jugglers, fire-eaters and musicians.
