Feast of Sant'Antonio Abate in Zafferana Etnea
On the Eve of the Feast, January 16th, the transfer of the statue from its altar to the presbytery takes place in the early afternoon. the Eucharistic liturgy follows.
On the day of the Feast of Sant'Antonio Abate, January 17, in the evening the Solemn Eucharistic Celebration takes place in the Mother Church, at the end of the liturgy the distribution of "cuddureddi", traditional donuts of bread blessed by the priest. The party ends with the firing of fireworks in Piazza Umberto.

09:30 Entrance to the band complex and parade through the streets of the town.
10:00 Solemn Eucharistic Celebration.
The civil and military authorities will be present.
Following, festive exit of the relics and simulacrum of St. Anthony the Abbot.
Procession.
Entrance into Piazza Umberto I, where the Blessing will be given to the countryside.
After the fireworks, the procession will continue along Via Roma (up to the bridge), Via Garibaldi and return to the Church Mother.
