Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Grisì - Monreale
The Patronal Festival of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Grisì, a small village in the municipality of Monreale, is a deeply felt and well-attended event by the inhabitants of the small village.
The festival traditionally takes place on 16, 17 and 18 August and is organized by a committee i dubbitàti ra festa which is traditionally renewed annually with a traditional rite of passing the candles.
The three days of the patronal feast are marked by celebrations, illuminations, fireworks and culminate with the solemn procession of the Simulacrum through the streets of the village.
On the occasion of the celebrations, a rich program full of events is organized every year with musical and entertainment shows.
