Feast of San Calogero in Favara
The feast of San Calogero di Favara takes place on the first Sunday of August. On the occasion of the celebrations, processions of the statue of the Saint take place, carried on the shoulders by devotees, through the streets of the town. The singularity of the festival consists in the distribution, during the procession, of the blessed bread in the shape of small loaves. The party ends with a musical show and fireworks.
