Feast of St. George in Gioiosa Marea
The Feast of San Giorgio in Gioiosa Marea is celebrated in the month of April, on the occasion of the liturgical anniversary, and is a moment of great faith and tradition for the entire community of San Giorgio, a hamlet of Gioiosa Marea.
On the occasion of the celebrations, the evocative procession of the Painting of San Giorgio at sea and the procession of the simulacrum of the Saint through the streets of the village take place.
On the days of the celebration, various collateral events are organized such as musical evenings, shows and tastings.
