Feast of San Giovanni in Randazzo

The Feast of San Giovanni in Randazzo is traditionally celebrated every year on June 24, the anniversary of the birth of the Saint.
The origins of the festival stem from the custom of organizing a livestock fair in honor of San Giovanni. Given the great and growing devotion of an ever-increasing number of faithful, a statue was purchased and carried in procession on this feast day.
