Feast of San Giuseppe in Fiumefreddo

Every year in Fiumefreddo di Sicilia on 19 March the celebrations for the patron saint San Giuseppe take place. On the occasion of the feast the simulacrum preserved in the Maria SS.ma del Rosario di Castello church is carried in procession and traditionally blessed bread is distributed to the faithful, the so-called "cuddureddi di San Giuseppi".
