Feast of San Giuseppe in Milena
The Feast of San Giuseppe in Milena, the patron saint of the village, takes place in the month of March, on the occasion of the liturgical anniversary, and in the month of May, on the occasion of the feast of San Giuseppe alla Campagna.
The Feast of St. Joseph celebrated in the month of March includes the setting up of the traditional tables of St. Joseph, better known as Tavulatidi li vecchioriddi, an altar with the image of the Sant embellished with tablecloths full of seasonal fruits and traditional dishes.
The celebrations in honor of the Patriarch Saint culminate with the solemn procession of the Simulacrum of the Patron Saint.
The Festival of San Giuseppe alla Campaigntakes place in the Vittorio Veneto Village where there is a small church dedicated to the Patron Saint. On the occasion of the celebrations, a rich program of events is organized which includes, in addition to religious celebrations and the Simulacrum procession, entertainment with traditional popular games, spaghetti dinner, and guided trekking.
