The Feast of San Giuseppe in Riesi is celebrated on March 19, on the occasion of the liturgical feast, and on the last Sunday in July when the great fets aestiva takes place.

The Summer Festival of San Giuseppe in Riesi is announced in the morning by the firing of 19 damselfishes. In the evening there is the solemn procession of the Simulacrum of San Giuseppe and the deed of entrustment of the city to the Saint.
